Cristobal Huet Consulting (CHC) provides a professional and human-centered approach to goaltender development.
Founded by Cristobal Huet, former NHL and Olympic goaltender, CHC helps goalies and clubs reach new levels of technical precision, mental resilience, and strategic awareness.
Every session combines elite hockey experience with an educational mindset, helping goalies grow both on and off the ice.
We believe in rigorous, human coaching that builds confidence, focus, and long-term consistency.

The history of CHC

Founded by former professional goaltender Cristobal Huet, CHC was created to raise the standards of goaltender coaching in Switzerland and beyond.
Our goal is to share the methods and mindset that define elite hockey, through personalized training, collaboration with clubs, and continuous mentorship.
Our history is built on the values of excellence, trust, humility, and transmission, inspiring every goalie to reach their full potential.

CRISTOBAL HUET

From his first professional games in France to his time in the NHL, Olympic Games, and Swiss National Team, Cristobal Huet has experienced every level of the game.
Renowned for his calm, discipline, and professionalism, he has inspired countless players and teammates throughout his career.
Today, he shares this experience through Cristobal Huet Consulting, helping goalies and organizations apply elite-level principles to their own development.
His philosophy is simple: success is built on trust, structure, and constant learning.

Year 1994

Professional debut in France. Early reputation built on calm presence, sharp technique, and strong work ethic.

Year 1998

Move to Switzerland and rapid rise with HC Lugano, contributing to a national title and establishing European credentials.

Year 2002

North American chapter begins: entry to the NHL and one of the few French-trained goalies to reach the league.

Year 2005–2006

Breakout with Montréal; league-leading save-percentage honors highlight his status among top goaltenders.

Year 2007

First French-born player to participate in an NHL All-Star Game – played the third period in the 2007 All-Star Game in Dallas.

Year 2010

Stanley Cup champion with Chicago – first French-born player to have his name engraved on the Cup.

Year 2012

Return to Switzerland with Lausanne and transition toward coaching and mentoring as his playing career winds down.

Year 2023

Inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in recognition of his international impact and career achievements.

Year 2025

Launch of CHC (Cristobal Huet Consulting). Official start of a modern, human-first program for goalies – built on years of prior mentoring.
